COMPANY HISTORY

East Tennessee Realty Services is a locally owned and operated Real Estate and Auction Firm.  The company was established by Roy Roderick in 1995. Roy began his real estate career in 1977 where he worked for and managed the office of Strout Realty of Greeneville. In 1981 brother Ralph joined with Roy. In 2004 Ralph Roderick purchased the company from Roy and is now the "Principal Broker for the firm. This family-oriented company has proudly served the Greeneville/Greene County area with all aspects of a buyer's and seller's real estate needs offering personalized service to each and every customer!!!!

Ralph completed the educational requirements and has obtained a firm license for the Auction Services Division of the company.

Roy remains with the office and now concentrates his efforts less on running the office and more on listing and selling properties as he has done in the past. This will give him a little more free time to spend with his "Grand Children and Great Grand Children"

Connie Roderick is working as "office assistant". Connie is Ralph's wife and will provide you with personalized assistance in relocating to the area, along with taking care of the everyday operations of the office.

In 2005 we were proud to announce the arrival of Leon Bird to the staff. Leon is currently head of the "Building and Zoning Department" for Greene County. He has maintained an Affiliate Broker's Real Estate License for over twenty five years and is also a licensed Auctioneer for over twenty years. Leon will be the "Principal Auctioneer" for the Auction Division. His knowledge of auctions, real estate and the building and zoning regulations will be a tremendous asset to the company in providing assistance in all phases of "Realty Services".

In 2006 the firm welcomed new agents into the family. Jeff Roderick, Penny Hicks, Mabel Agee and Lisa Perkins as Affiliate Brokers and together the firm will carry on the honesty and integrity that has always been the corner stone of the office.

In 2008 the firm was Blessed to find Barbara Hegarty. Barbara will be working as our Office Manager and her expertise and proficiency will take the entire office "up a notch"!
AREAS SERVICED
All of the Staff have experience and personal knowledge of the Northeast Tennessee area including Greene, Cocke, Hawkins, Washington, Unicoi and Hamblem Counties. Roy and Ralph have even assisted in several sales in the western North Carolina area.
